Living Room Salon:  Brooklyn based, multi-media artist Rona Yefman will present and discuss her photography, video, and installation work, which demonstrates how figuration can be used insightfully and sensitively to lay bare challenging contemporary narratives of identity and interpersonal relationships.  Israeli-born to an extraordinarily artistic family, Yefman spent years creating a visual chronicle of her sibling Gil’s transgender journey.  Like other series Yefman will share, this work (recently published in the volume “Let It Bleed”), incisively directs our gaze into difficult spaces and finds humanity, understanding, and beauty.  Limited series will be available for viewing and purchase.

Limit: 30

Cost: $120
